Our Recipes
We are excited to welcome our amazing employee Donna to share her delicious soft cardamom cookie recipe with all of us and also the interesting history behind it. These cookies are incredible! Donna has been blessing us with these for years at Christmas time. Thank you Donna for spoiling us with these goodies. I’m sure they are going to be a fast favourite in your Christmas baking.
Coffee is an essential part of the day for a Finn. In the morning you have your ‘aamukahvi‘ (morning coffee), in the afternoon you enjoy your ‘iltapäiväkahvit‘ (afternoon coffee), and after a good meal, you enjoy a nice cup of dessert coffee, ‘jälkiruokakahvit‘.
Autumn, with its spectacular changing colours in nature and cooler days, always reminds us of getting cozy with a soft blanket and a good book. We welcome the harvest of fresh, juicy apples from local farms and even anticipate this annual event before summer ends. Our hearts are grateful for nature’s bounty as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving.
